FAQ
A few honest questions.
- Who do you work with?
- Philanthropic foundations, donor collaboratives, public-interest research institutes, civil society alliances, city and regional initiatives on water, energy, food, and land — and grassroots organisations. Primarily in the Indo-Pacific, with a focus on India, South Asia, and Southeast Asia.
- How long does an engagement typically last?
- Strategy sprints are 4–8 weeks. Systems accompaniment is 6–18 months. Learning design and facilitation can be one-off or ongoing. We can discuss what makes sense for your context.
- Do you work solo or with a team?
- Primarily solo, though I work with a trusted network of practitioners — facilitators, sector specialists, and researchers — who I bring in on larger engagements.
- Do you work outside India?
- Yes. My practice is regionally focused on the Indo-Pacific — South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Australia/Pacific contexts. I work remotely and in-person.
- What is your approach to AI?
- I use AI tools (Perplexity, Claude, NotebookLM) to accelerate research synthesis and prototype development. I’m transparent about how I use them, and I always bring human judgment and relational intelligence to the parts of the work that matter most.
- Can you work with grassroots organisations?
- Yes — I hold a defined portion of my annual capacity for low-bono and pro-bono work with community-led organisations. Get in touch and we can have an honest conversation about what is possible.
